James W. Garner has more than 30 years of retirement and investment planning practice, in which he has worked with a wide variety of high net worth individuals. He will help clients design and implement specific strategies to help accomplish their goals. When necessary, he can involve the services of private money managers and work with necessary tax and trust counsel.

Jim was born in Augusta, Georgia. He is a Graduate of Admiral Farragut Academy (N.J.) where he served as a platoon commander. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at the Benjamin Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at the University of  Georgia and conducted graduate studies at the Colorado School of Mines. He is a National Fellow of The Explorers Club (NYC) and serves in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.. He is a cornea transplant recipient and works in support of organ and tissue donation. He and his wife, Joy, live in Golden, Colorado and Cumming, Georgia..
